This vintage, mint condition typewriter is a Smith Corona Silent Super 5T Series manual portable typewriter from 1957 based on the serial number under the ribbon cover on the left side.

The Serial# of this typewriter, as pictured, is #5T 596136X.

The rare color of this beautiful vintage Smith Corona typewriter was called Alpine Blue and has a beautiful powder coat finish.

This typewriter is a must have for any typewriter collector!

This typewriter comes with a hard brown and aluminum factory case with aluminum latch closure. 

This carry case was called the "Holiday" case by Smith Corona. It was the top of the line case that followed the use of their tweed case on lower level models.

Through our research we found out that the Holiday carry case was manufactured by Samsonite for Smith Corona.

Both the case and typewriter were made in the USA.

Included, is the original Owner's User Manual for this typewriter.   The case key is not included.

This typewriter has been fully serviced, inspected, cleaned, adjusted, lubricated and fully tested for years of trouble free use and enjoyment!

A brand new high quality black and red ribbon on the original factory metal ribbon spools was just installed.

The desirable typeface font on this machine is Pica in 12 Pitch or 12 characters per inch.

The type is dark, crisp and perfect as it was when this machine was new back in 1957.
