This is a set of 6 large print cozy mystery/suspense books featuring hobbies by Mollie Cox Bryan, Vivien Chien, Parnell Hall, Hazel Holt, Ann B. Ross and Maggie Sefton.  They were originally published from December 2008 to September 2018.  Check fictiondb.com for more information.  Five of the books are former library books with stamps, stickers, etc.  The books are in good to very good condition and don't contain markings on content pages.  They were kept in a smoke free home. “Parnell Hall was an American mystery writer. He was born on October 31, 1944 and passed away on December 15, 2020. His works include the Puzzle Lady and the Stanley Hastings series, as well as the screenplay to the 1984 cult classic C.H.U.D.. He collaborated with Manny Nosowsky for crossword puzzles and with Will Shortz for sudoku puzzles incorporated in Puzzle Lady stories.”
“Hazel Holt was a British novelist.  She studied at King Edward VI High School for Girls in Birmingham, England, and then Newnham College, Cambridge. She went on to work at the International African Institute in London, where she became acquainted with the novelist Barbara Pym, whose biography she later wrote. She also finished one of Pym's novels after Pym died. Holt wrote My Dear Charlotte, a story that uses the actual language of Jane Austen's letters to her sister Cassandra to construct a Regency murder mystery.
Holt wrote her first novel in her sixties, and was a leading crime novelist. She is best known for her Sheila Malory series. She was also a regular contributor to The Stage for some years. She married Geoffrey Louis Holt in 1951; their son is novelist Tom Holt.”
