Beautiful lamp base, probably 1970's, probably Italian, certainly Continental.
It is in remarkably good condition considering it is 50 years old and so delicate. I have tried to give you good pictures so that you can see the small amount of damage to flowers yourself.
The gilding at the top is worn where the light has been switched on and off and got rubbed. There is some crazing.
The lamp is not wired but it is a very simple job to feed a wire through the main central stem and screw a light fitting on. Your local repair cafe should be able to do this for you if you can't.
It is approx 39cm tall and 23cm wide and deep.
