Here we have a lovely Royal Doulton bone china tea set for four (19 piece) in the Yorktown pattern which features a white base with applied blue foliage details and a scalloped border around the rims. The set includes 4 teacups, 4 saucers, 4 larger saucers, 4 side plates, lidded sugar pot, milk/cream jug and a small butter plate. Each of these pieces is from c1963 and has the ribbed edges (later pieces were smooth).
All in excellent clean condition overall, no damage or crazing, the small butter plate does have a surface scratch and two teacups have a very miniscule imperfection on the underneath rim (see photos) practically invisible normally.
