Lot of 2 Vintage 1970s Penneys Towncraft Suit Jacket Blazers
There are no size or fabric content tags on these jackets. Care tags were required on garments after 1971 and these jackets have care instructions, i.e., "Dry Clean Only." The width of the lapels and the fabric patterns suggest they were manufactured in the 1970s.
Printed on each fabric tag: Stylized "P" on left side of tag. "TOWNCRAFT FINE STYLING FOR BOYS DRY CLEAN ONLY"
Red White Check Jacket
- Features a 2 button closure, a faux buttoned pocket on the chest and 2 actual pockets on the lower front, an open slit in the back, long sleeves and a full lining.

- Shoulder to shoulder measurement 13 inches
- Length from back collar seam to hem 20 inches
- Sleeve length from shoulder seam to hem 17 inches
- Measurements suggest a boy's size 4 to 5.
Blue Stripe Jacket

These suit jackets are in good vintage condition with no rips or tears; however, they have some areas of discoloration/staining on the edges of the garments (photo 7). They have been dry cleaned in a home dryer but with professional dry cleaning, the areas may come clean. Check measurements and examine photos closely.
