Beautiful liqueur decanter in Baccarat crystal, richly cut overlay crystal in cobalt blue color, Lagny model. By crystal overlay, we mean a surface covered with a thin layer of colored crystal which, once cut, reveals the white layer through transparency.

The Lagny service is quite old since it appears in the Baccarat des Arts de la Table catalog of 1916. It is referenced under the name Lagny in that of 1933.

It is one of the most beautiful, most prestigious models of crystal making: in strong crystal, allowing the creation of cut decorations with multiple complications, always perfectly executed without any offset, it is very richly cut, and gives the items in the range a exceptional shine.

This liqueur decanter presents an additional refinement, which makes it a very luxury production. It is mounted with a solid silver neck (Minerva hallmark on the frame, as well as an unidentified goldsmith's hallmark).
