Vintage 1938 - 8" X 10" Black & White Photo of the Palos Verde Surfing Club at Hueneme, Ventura, CA. Printed by Leroy Grannis with "Leroy F Grannis" Stamp and date. TEXT on back written by Granny reads “B93, 1938 P V Club, Hueneme, Doc Ball Photo.”
In the Taschen book "Leroy Grannis" on page 20, it shows this same same shot with Left to Right: Jim Reynolds, Hoppy Swartz, Tulie Clark, Mary Anne Hawkins on E. J. Oshierʻs shoulders, Chuck Allen, Hal Pearson and Leroy Grannis.
CONDITION: VG+ Vintage - 8 inch tall X 10 inch wide - Doc Ball, Black and White Photo, medium weight gloss paper, printed by Leroy Grannis with hand written text on back and his stamp. Print is very nice, back is very nice.
