Vintage 50s Blue FIT & FLARE GARDEN DRESS Collar Belted Full Skirt Rockabilly 8/10/M

This dress is a true find! It was expertly handmade with extraordinary care. The fabric is a lightweight cotton that feels almost like muslin (particularly the white fabric, which may be a muslin / linen). The light blue fabric is scalloped along the edges on the sleeves and down the center, then trimmed in white to highlight the scalloped edge. The matching white collar is finished with a pretty white bow. The buttons are all functional to the fourth one below the waistline. Below that, they are strictly decorative. The fit and flare cut has a nice, full skirt which we've photographed with one of our petticoats underneath, however the petticoat is not included

Regarding condition, this dress looks absolutely beautiful! The belt shows more wear -- the buckle is a little discolored -- but there are no holes or fraying. The previous owner wrote on the inside collar, however that writing isn't visible when worn. The pits had some sweat stains, but we soaked the dress and the stains are no longer there. There may be the slightest hint (nothing that stands out at all) of some tiniest bit of yellowish in the right pit area, but its nothing you'd notice without really studying it. Our camera can't pick it up, but we've included a photo of the area for your review. Truly, the dress is so, so pretty. You'll love it!

Measurements conform to a contemporary size 8/10 or medium. The belt can cinch the waist to a smaller size. Our mannequin wears a size 2/4 for reference on a smaller figure. Because every figure is different, please...
