The paper memo pad is still new.  Comes with original box that has some damage.  When you remove the pen the tablet will open.  There is a red lining on one side that is loose.  Stays where it needs to but, could probably be glued in so it doesnt fall out. 

Very limited to any scratching on front and back - review photos.    Its not noted anywhere but, it looks like you could possibly engrave the outside if desired
