This listing is for an antique German doll recently purchased from a local doll auction.  She was made by Ernst Heubach of Thuringia, Germany.

She has a socket bisque head with brown glass sleep eyes and and an open mouth with two teeth. Her original wig is brown mohair cut into a typical bob style of the era: it still has the original blue silk ribbon bow.

She has a floral print cotton dress with lace trim and modern cotton panty.  Her yellow oilcloth shoes and cotton ribbed socks are from the 1920s-30s and not original to the doll.

Her body is five piece composition and she stands approx. 13" tall.

She is marked "Heubach 257-6/0 Koppelsdorf D.R.G.M Germany X" on the back of her head. Her body is not marked.

Condition: Good. There are no cracks, chips or hairlines in the bisque head. The tips of her fingers are broken. There is some wear and staining on the body and the panties have a lot of brown age spots.

Please note: antique books and doll stand are not included and are for display purposes only.
