Weller Pottery (Zanesville Ohio 1872-1948) had many early lines with hand-painted underglaze decoration with a glossy glaze that was very popular at that time.  They introduced their Etna line that often had a blended gray background and hand-painted floral decoration about 1906.

This vase is about 4-1/2 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter at its widest point near the top.   The bottom rim is about 3 inches in diameter and the top rim is about 2-3/8 inches in diameter.

It has a detailed decoration of lavender flowers - possibly poppies - with the typical Etna body.  The side has the impressed "WELLER" often used on these pieces and the bottom has the impressed mark "ETNA WELLER".

It is in very good antique condition for a vase over 115 years old - no chips or hairlines - and ready to display.
