This watch was manufactured by Hampden, c. 1900.  It is 18 size with 17 jewels and is SN 1405211.  The case is gold filled, marked Bristol; Guaranteed 20 Years; BWC Co.; 7440240.  The movement is marked The Dueber Watch Co. Canton, Ohio; 17 Jewels; Safety Pinion; Adjusted:  1405211.  The watch comes in a very nice vintage box (assumed to be the original box).

The case has nice details on the front as well as the back.  The initials JD are very subtly incorporated into the back design.  The movement seems a bit loose (both screws are in place) but it runs well and keeps time.  The watch fits nicely into the green case (see pictures).  The watch was tested before listing and is running well.
