Golden State eReaders offers this hard to find Amazon Kindle DX eReader, model D00611, 2nd generation, white color. This 2nd gen is the keyboard version, appreciated by many over the touch screen. It has the following features: 4 GB memory, a huge 9.7" screen, a standard QWERTY keyboard, and a standard USB Android charging port. Fast shipping to the U.S.   

Being sold as-is for parts or repair.  This reader did not charge up, and so was not otherwise tested.  But there is no visible damage to case or screen.  Batteries and replacement instructions are available online. So for the price of the battery and a little labor you can have a desired large keyboard Kindle. Tablet only, no charger, cable, or cover.   


This model used 3G wireless connectivity, not Wi-Fi.  The companies have shut down those 3G networks, so keep the  "Wireless" turned off to keep the unit from wasting the battery looking for a non-existant service.  

Important Note: various early Kindles, including this model, can no longer register with Amazon.  You cannot download books directly, rather you select and purchase books from your Amazon account on your computer, and then download them to your Kindle.  Accordingly this device is being sold with the understanding that all content must be loaded onto it via USB cable via a 3rd party software program such as Calibre-ebook.com.
