The best book I've read on the US involement in Vietnam.

I think this is the best view of the US involvement in Vietnam, before, during and after the War. It consists of recorded comments of people from across the wide range of those who were there. As such it offers a lot of individual perspectives and it does so in a very readable fashion. It is historic without being academic or taking sides.
