This large almost 8” long unique vintage Chinese shard box is silver plated over copper. The top is an antique Ming or Qing dynasty porcelain depicting a group of boys from rich family playing in the courtyard while a maid looking on. Nice pre-owned condition. There is a scratch on the porcelain. Please see photos.

A beautiful piece that will definitely enhance the look of your home décor, valuable addition to any collection, perfect for storing jewelry, small trinkets or even as a decorative piece on its own.

A little history about the shard box: Each box is made from a shard of Ming or Qing Dynasty porcelain, destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. No two fragments of porcelain are the same, each expertly selected for its size and shape, and reimagined so as to accentuate what remains of its beauty.
