Shimano XTR Triple Chainset. (#2)

FC-M952 M9  P46-34-24 175mm crank arms.

Second and final revison of the 4 arm 950 series triple.

This one was part of the first (3x9) 27 speed XTR Groupset, marketed as Mega9 or M9. Apart from some pretty machining on the front face there's hardly any difference between this and the M950/M951 8/24 speed triples it replaced.

The octa-spine direct mount main ring acts as mounting spider for the inner two chainrings. This can be replaced with a more 'conventional' style modular spider if required.

It's pre used with some obvious cosmetic imperfections from its previous life/usage.

Apart from those two 'radial messes!' (heal rub) this one is in REALLY GOOD CONDITION.

The cranks are still nice and powdery matt grey, the sides and ends are all un marked and the extractor caps still  look like new.

Most importantly all three chainrings are in excellent condition. There's a bit of chain polish on the flanks of the 34 but all of the tooth profiles are still just about as new!

I don't think I've ever seen a centre octy lock nut this dark before! Not even on a NOS/NEW set!

The fixing threads and interface splines are undamaged and are in perfect condition.

Complete with both original (axle) self extractor caps/ axle fixing bolts.
