This production was part of The D'Oyly Carte Opera Company's repertoire of G & S operas, and was filmed in Golders Green Hippodrome Theatre in 1966; this DVD was first issued in 2011.

Original DVD case complete with CD, which has been played on only one occasion, and is in excellent condition; as is the DVD case which contains it - with slight fading on the top of the front cover. Also contains one leaflet with very basic information about the recording. 3 colour photographs of the production are included in the presentation.
