NB: Has NOT been tested with new film. Given that this camera is nearly 100 years old it is a great example controls seem to be functioning correctly with tension to the springs. However this is sold with no guarantee of functionality and it is for a restoration project or collectors item.
Not sold as a working camera.
NB: The speed indicator operating the focal plane shutter is working but accuracy of settings cannot be confirmed and the focal plane shutter moves up and down. The outer rim can be pulled away from the camera body to set the desired exposure scale.
Body: Age related expected condition with the material peeling or loose in some places (see photos)
Bellows: showing signs of wear but overall expected condition for its age but there is a fair amount of wear within the folds (see photos)
Lens: For its age, the lens is in a very good condition however there does see elements of dust, haze and ?fungus? present (see photos)
Internal mirror plate: not clean (see photos)
Struts: Functional
Shutter release: Functional however slow to return to position once pressed
Ground Glass: Intact
Focussing Lever: Smooth but slightly stiff
Speed Indicator: Functional and winding (no guarantee of accuracy)
Wire Frame Finder: Functional but stiff when moving
