Vintage 1950s Elgin American Blue Birds Wedding Enamel Compact Mirror & Powder. Shipped with USPS First Class.

This vintage compact features a pink background with a wedding day motif. Featured here bluebirds, rings wedding bells, flowers and ribbons on the front cover. The back cover is plain. The interior has a button to open the powder chamber, separating a powder puff from the actual makeup. It does come with the powder puff. The compact is trimmed in gold colored metal. It snaps shut tightly . You just have to make sure to line it up because the closure is slightly askew. There is one small spot of missing enamel on the front as shown in the last photograph. This Elgin American is 3 3/8" by 2 7/8 inches.
