Founded by Charles Tomae in 1920, the Tomae family enjoyed a longstanding reputation for quality silver hollowware.  Tiffany & Co. commissioned sterling desk accessories, boxes, novelties and giftware from the lauded Attleboro, Massachusetts silversmith.
