Here's a Nice 4x5 camera and it's mostly working well too!   It's a Vintage Graflex Speed Graphic Large Format 4 x 5 inch Camera----  made from the late 1940's through the 1960's--- I don't know exactly when it's from though, but it's definitely Post-War.   It has the Curtain Shutter as well as a leaf shutter at the lens--- a 127mm f/4.7 Kodak Ektar lens in a Supermatic Shutter.  It has a Graflok Back for easy Ground Glass/Hood removal and enable use of a Roll-film holder (not included).   I've included four older style Sheet Film Holders (they are a little ugly but are all complete & functional).

It's in Very Good Cosmetic condition--- with the most wear & tear on the Graflok Back metal.   Otherwise it has some minor nicks, scuffs, scratches, or a little metal oxidation to the paint and trim in other spots, and a little wear to some spots of the outside leather.  But it's really very Nice overall considering the age--- just some expected light wear.

Mechanically, the various latches and mechanical functions work well as far as I can tell, and the picture taking functions work well too.   The Supermatic Shutter fires well at different speeds, but they have not been fully tested for accuracy.  The shutter speed dial is hard to turn, and the connection to that little solenoid thingy is disconnected--- so it can use a little servicing.

The Curtain shutter looks Great--- the curtains are smooth and it cycles well at different speeds, but I have not extensively tested it so that is a bit uncertain.  The bellows is in Great condition--- no big damage that I can see, but it sits a little crooked--- not that I think that would matter much.  The Ground Glass, Hood and Graflok back are complete and work well.

The Lens Glass is Very clean--- clear all the way, No fog or glue separation, not even many dust specs.  The lens aperture moves nicely, is clean with no oil.  The Rangefinder works well, although a little dim.   Beyond all that,  I imagine it could use a little tweaking to get to perfect working condition.

So Overall it's in Excellent mechanical shape--- NOT Like New, but in good functional condition, considering the age and wear of it.  That's about all I can tell you.  What you see is what you'll get--- the actual item for sale is pictured--- please check them all out.

Continental US Shipping will be $15.50.  I will ship the next business day after purchase.   It will be packed well and safe.   International Shipping via the ebay program.

PLEASE READ THIS---  PLEASE READ THIS--- By Buying you Agree with this:   I am not Amazon or a professional Camera Store seller--- just an old camera collector/shooter selling some Used items.  I'm not here trying to rip anybody off or sneak one past you.    But that said... I'm not into having things go back and forth based on opinion, or risk "part swapping" either.  So I'm sorry, I can't sell this item on Approval--- it's being sold As Is, No Warranty, No Buyer's Remorse, No Try-outs, No Returns... being sold for collectible purposes, Unknown if working perfectly.   I've been a photographer for 30+ years and I know how cameras work and what to look for and can recognize when something is broken.  But I can't "Bench Test" every thing to factory specs and unless it's Brand New... I can't guarantee that every single aspect may be Perfect--- especially when it's a 70 year old mechanical item.  Any significant defects that I know of are either pictured or described to the best of my knowledge and I try to be detailed and truthful, but I can't describe every every millimeter of it.   If you have a question about something particular--- Ask Before You Buy It.  What you see is what you'll get and I package my items well, so it arrives in the same condition as shown.
