Shimano First '7 speed' XT level Rear mech

Lovely old school torsion sprung rear mech.

It's pre used but in very good condition, there's no heavy scuffs or deep scratches anywhere on the body. There's a little mark above the top left pivot pin and a couple of imperfections on the the name plate, left hand end (near that pin) and the bottom right hand corner. Neither of which will really be visible once its fitted up. Apart from those few little points it's in beautiful condition, the silver annodised body has still got a lovely shine to it!

The mech has been fully strip down serviced, cleaned, checked and found to be in perfect working order.

There was no sign of fatigue on either of the hidden springs and no signs of any previous water ingress into either of the (semi) sealed housings.

The cage's angular alignment is still factory square , all of the heads, threads and fittings are undamaged and are in a 'as new' condition.

The original XT pulleys are also in excellent condition with hardly any signs of wear to the tooth profiles.

A ceramic 'Centeron' guide wheel up top with a externally sleeved steel tension pulley at the bottom.

The mech was originally part of a (3x7) 21 speed groupset, but will shift just as well over 6,8 or 9 sprockets.

It's exactly the same as the RD- M735 that replaced it minus the spring preload adjustment.
