I have owned a few eagle and globe horns and they have never failed to please up there with the 6M, dare I say better than a 6M, these are becoming scarce none more so than the plated ones, they have a micro tuner which is of a different design compared to the 6M, this is a complete bonus as this version are simplistic in design and reliable, the Pan American Eagle on Globe are without doubt becoming quite rare and to find one like this in 99.9% good original condition in plate with a gold wash bell hard to find, the serial number of 52410 dates this to 1935.

Comes with what I believe is the original mouthpiece and I am basing this on previous ownership of these horns, sorry I cannot be 100% as the wording has been rubbed / scratched off by the ligature, but am fairly confident, either way it is without doubt an age related mouthpiece, tip and rails are fine and blows around a 5, the case although lost the covering on the corner is solid with all catches and hinges working well so a very useable piece, and recoverable if you so desire…..
