For sale is the funky-looking Kia Picanto, it is one of the best-selling city cars out there. It is reliable, stylish and yet a practical body style makes it very spacious for a car its size. It is also well-equipped even for the Picanto 2 spec. Usually, City cars will always be tight on space, but the Picanto maximises its dimensions with a roomy interior with plenty of space for the size, decent boot and easy to drive. A really nice car an ideal town runabout and an ideal first car. This is the 5-door hence can easily be a family car too. It will cost you the now standard £190 to tax for the whole year.
Under the bonnet is the 1.0 litre 65bhp petrol engine with Kia’s new Automated Manual Transmission (AMT). The AMT is based around a five-speed manual transmission with clutch and gear shift actuators to automate clutch operation and gear shifts. Using a single dry clutch, the AMT is a cost-effective option for customers who favour the convenience and ease-of-use of an automatic transmission, without sacrificing the fuel efficiency of a conventional manual transmission. So basically, this is an automatic gearbox in a nutshell.
The car has had one owner from new, the logbook shows zero previous owners. It was first registered 30/09/2022. It had a damage to most of the panels, and I have displayed a collage photo of the damage for your perusal. It is recorded as a CAT S Repairable damage but has now been fully and very well repaired. You can bring your mechanic for inspection for your peace of mind.
The Car came with the owner’s manual and service book but there is no service stamp on the book, possibly had the damage before the service was due. It is less than 2 years old and has only covered 1,763k miles. It is a genuine mileage and obviously for the age. Please feel free to do hpi checks to verify. It is almost a new car, the new owner can start keeping their own service record and I suppose service is due now based on time not mileage, so please factor that in as you purchase.
The car is less than 2 years old hence not due for its first MOT. However, following the repairs, a full MOT was carried out for your peace of mind, and it passed with no advisory as expected really with such a low mileage. The first MOT was supposed to be due on 29/09/2025 but as a new MOT was already carried out following the repairs, you may want to carry on with the anniversary of this MOT which means the Next MOT will be due on 15th April 2025.
The car drives fine with no concerns whatsoever. The engine runs sweet, it starts first time all the time, no rattles, and bangs, to be honest; this is a very clean and stunning car both inside and out. I have tried to show you many photos in collage, the photos speak for itself. At such a mileage you will see that it wasn’t used much.
It comes with some nice features and options for the 2 spec such as: Bluetooth for music and call streaming, DAB digital radio, USB, AUX, ESP, Front fog light, Automatic headlights, Tyre pressure monitoring, Forward safety assist, Voice command, Multifunctional Leather steering wheel with silver chrome trim, Front and rear electric windows and side mirrors, Working Air-conditioning, Alloys, Central locking, ISOFIX points on rear seats, Trip computer and more.
Everything works in the car, no warning lights. The documents available with the car are the V5c (logbook) certificate, MOT certificate, service book with all owner’s manuals and the accessories are the locking wheel nut and one remote. There is no spare wheel as they come with just the inflation repair kit.
There are hardly obvious marks on the car but i must advice for the benefits of those who may expect a showroom car, that it is a used car please expect to see minor imperfections like a car park-like mark on the rear driver side door. I have displayed many aspects of the car, please zoom in to see clearer. Overall, you will be buying a very clean car.
