A company has relocated its machining facility and will be releasing for disposition any items no longer needed. There is a room of primarily inspection gauges and measuring tools. There are also some fixtures which will be sold. Sorting and identifying the contents will be a lengthy process but as the items are declared surplus they will be offered for sale. I will describe these pieces as accurately as I am able but I can not guarantee accuracy or tolerance of the measuring tools. Offered here is a Starrett Inside Micrometer Set, Model 823-D. As per the data sheet this set is rated as 4" - 32" measuring range.
***Please note that 823-D is noted on the data sheet and #823 is marked on the micrometer head*** This set is in the fitted wooden case as shown and the components appear to be in good condition. I did notice that the cover latches are missing so they should probably be replaced.
