Here is a very nice and very cool Acoma Pueblo handmade and hand painted pottery canteen.

This canteen is in good condition, showing age related signs of wear, with a great look. Can you see the original price of $3.50 on the back???

There is a fire cloud from when this piece was fired under burning wood, which I think adds to the originality and adds character to the piece. Crazing/Crackle is present throughout the piece on the slip. Also, some small flea bites, which probably happened while it was being fired. There is about a 1" hairline where the fire cloud is, I think this is also on the slip not the pottery itself. Please view the photos for a more accurate description. The measurements are: 6.75" tall x 5.25" wide x 4.25" deep.

It would look wonderful suspended, hanging on a wall in a southwestern style home or even a cowboy room! It also sits up or sits on its belly. A great addition to any collection!
