This form of Mid-Eastern woven bag commonly is found in Afghanistan and Pakistan, and was often used as a carrying bag on the side of a camel saddle.  It could be used elsewhere to carry goods, and now days can be filled with substances and sewn shut to create a decorative pillow.  The weave is coarse, typical of tribal goods.  It is not a recent import, having been from an older estate, so it likely is late 20th C. There is no odor, no tears or damage...one small spot of stain on the reverse (see the photo). It measures approx 28" x 23", and weighs approx 3 1/2 pounds.  CHECK MY EBAY STORE, SAGANGUY LTD, ANTIQUES AND ART.
