Freight companies are responsible for curbside delivery only.(If item ships UPS ground or FedEx ground driver will in most cases deliver to your front door or porch area. If shipment is valued over $1,000.00 we will require an adult signature . Please prearrange help if you need inside delivery, some of these units are extremely large and heavy; you may have to hire a moving company. Please also keep in mind that some large trucks may have problems delivering to residential areas with narrow streets, steep driveways, and low power lines. If a delivery is not able to be made under these circumstances, the buyer is responsible for any and all additional costs that incur. It is the responsibility of the buyer to check all deliveries for damage. If any damage is found it must be noted on the shipping companies receipt in order to file a claim. All packaging material must be kept for the claim to be valid. Our carriers are instructed not to make inside deliveries, if the carrier does so & they bill us you will be charged for the added delivery costs. All freight deliveries will require an adult signature before delivery is completed.
Check your purchase immediately for any damage that may have occurred in transit. Our shipping quotes include maximum liability insurance. If your item is damaged, you need to file a claim with the shipping company as soon as possible.
FREIGHT & RECEIVING TERMS:
IMPORTANT /RECEIVING SHIPPING NOTES:
Please inspect your shipment thoroughly at the time of delivery, you must note imperfections with the shipment at the time of delivery on the bill of lading or electronic signature pad before signing the shipping document, don't rush, the driver can wait that's their job to make sure your shipment is delivered in the best condition possible. If you sign for shipment “Free & Clear” with no shortages & free of damage you as the purchaser you will be responsible for filing a claim with the carrier.
Missing the Common Carrier Delivery: If you fail to be present at time of your scheduled delivery or if the carrier deems your delivery in a restricted area you will be charged for the return delivery trip.
Inside Delivery: If you request an inside delivery the carrier has been instructed not to offer this option, it will be noted on the delivery Bill of Lading to not honor this service, if carrier does an inside delivery you will be charged for this service, usually $150.00-$250.00.
Defective Units:
If you received a defective unit, please keep in mind that most manufacturers may require a service call to diagnose the problem before RA is issued. If issue is strictly “Cosmetic” such as top, side or front dents, scratches, etc. we will most likely send you the part to resolve the issue. All defective appliances will be serviced by the manufacturer under manufacturer warranty before RA is issued. When a product needs to be returned, please contact us to receive an RA number. All merchandise defects will be verified by our returns department prior to shipment of the replacement or replacement parts. If a replacement is not available, we will credit you for the original price paid for the product. If your product is missing parts, contact us immediately.
