This is the thinner version of the first edition. It has five pages at the end listing other Biggles books, and a page summary of W E Johns life and about Biggles. The spine has wear at both top fnd bottom. Otherwise in nice condition for age. No markings. Has one colour picture and 6 black and white one -  Howard Leigh & Alfred Sindall illustrators
