This is the second Monte Carlo Imp which is the first appearance of the Sunbeam chassis and Corgi added some extra jewels too for a quite stunning display at the front. It is finished in a deep metallic blue with a white interior and has an opening rear window. This model did not come with an opening suitcase.

It is an excellent example with the early shaped wheels. The screens are clear and the suspension is good. Often it fails on these models. The rear seat mechanism works nicely too.

A very fine model and now quite hard to find in such condition, especially with the early wheels. This has the previous model's Rally plate at the front which I presume is a factory error but the correct decals on the rear and sides. There is also a tax disc from a Corgi Accessory Pack available at the time.

There is a range of Hillman Imps and other models at my own website - just enter corgi.toys in your browser - where more details, photos and discounted prices can be found. These include different shades of blue, the bronze edition with very scarce cast wheels (ex-late late Transporter Gift Set) and the sought-after Jensen's edition in pale blue.

My price includes postage and packing within the UK, items usually being despatched within 48 hours of receipt of funds. I am happy to send items abroad but buyers from overseas should make an additional payment. Buyers are liable for  import taxes in their own country where appropriate.

These are photos of the actual model you are buying. Remember that these toys are around 50 years old! All models advertised are original, not restored or repainted unless I have stated otherwise.
