This is a super rare MIMO Jump Hour Direct Read Digital Vintage Watch dating from the 1930s. It features a deco style case, with windows displaying discs to show the hours, minutes & seconds rather than hands. The watch is known as a ‘jump hour’ because of the way the hours advance, the seconds and minutes wheel are continuously running and when the minutes reach 60, the hour wheel ‘jumps’ to advance the next number. It’s a rare feature not too commonly found now and a very fun and unusual aspect of these watches, which makes them very sought after and collectible. The watch is mechanical (manual) and is running great and works well, though no service history is known.

This wristwatch is a perfect addition to any vintage watch collection. It was manufactured around 1930-1939. This watch is in great condition but of course shows wear consistent with age, there’s plating loss to the case, as well as heavy scratching too, please refer to the photos to asses the conditions properly yourself and ask if you’d like more photos.

The watch case is signed Mimo , however the movement is unsigned, this may indicate that the movement has been replaced some time in its 80 to 90 year life span, or at least some parts may have been. That said, it’s a good quality movement and fits the case as it should.

If you have any questions please ask prior to offering / buying.

This is a rare watch and one you don’t see often!
