This comes from a smoke free home, BUT we DO HAVE PET CATS. I CAN NOT GUARANTEE that a stray hair or two could not end up on the item, or in the packaging material or box before the item gets to you. I have not had any problems or complaints regarding this. I am just informing for anyone who may be severely allergic.
