This Kabar Serpentine pattern pen knife is in good user condition. Both blades have seen their fair share of use and wear, and have been sanded. They have sharp even edges with excellent snap. The main has very slight side to side play when open while the pen is tight.  The handle shows very little pocket wear. The covers are crack free.  The nickel silver bolsters show one or two scratches. This solid user of an old knife is ready for many more years of service. 

We do the least amount of repair or restoration possible before listing our knives and cutting tools. This may include lubrication, rust removal, general cleaning, and light honing with an oil stone. We will sometimes use a water based sharpening system with badly damaged chisels and gouges. There may be some lubricant remaining in a folding knife when sold. We do not use grinders or sanders! 

Please see item photos and condition report. We use knives everyday, and also buy and collect knives and tools. Like many others, we have been burned by sellers who say something like, "Great knife! See photos for description," only to find wobbly blades or other faults when it arrives. We examine everything we sell make a great effort to accurately describe its condition. That said, all item descriptions are based upon visual inspection only, and we do sometimes make mistakes so please don't hesitate to message us with questions or to ask for clarification.  We want you to know exactly what you are buying and above all, not be let down by your purchase. All measurements are approximate and are used for general descriptive purposes only. In the end, bidder's are still solely responsible for determining the condition and authenticity of items. 

This item will be shipped via USPS First Class Post for a $6.00 flat rate. While we ship within a couple of days of an auction ending, USPS shipping can still be very slow with significant delivery delays. Some items arrive within a week, others take several weeks. There is no way to predict how long delivery will take. By bidding and making a purchase you acknowledge and accept delivery could be delayed and will not hold us accountable for those delays.
