We're not sure who made this old nice swell center pen knife. It is in as found condition with areas of patination on the blades, springs and bolsters, and is in great user condition. The blades show light edge wear and are sharp. The main shows some light side to side play when open, but both have great walk and talk. The horn handle has some old "worm holes," but is otherwise also excellent. It is sharp little knife, ready to go to work without taking up much space in the pocket or purse.

Then find a major flaw or damage that wasn't mentioned or photographed. We examine everything we sell try to accurately describe its condition. If we describe a tool or knife as a good or excellent user, we think it meets or exceeds acceptability for it's intended use. The key words are, intended use. Buyers should understand the tolerance levels of tools they are using. The terms acceptable or light duty user means a tool has heavy wear affecting its usability. A pocket knife labeled thusly might be good for opening packages, but not general use in the shop or on the farm. We also try to point out any flaws, repairs or maintenance needed, like a cutting edge needing to be sharpened or with nicks. We do not think items labeled Parts, Repair or Study are usable. They may have salvageable parts, be a tool with broken or missing parts, or something we think may be of interest to other collectors. A rare pocket knife with broken blades may fall into this category. Or we may label it as collectable. This said, all item descriptions are based upon visual inspection only. We do sometimes make mistakes and appreciate it when other eBayers point them out to us. All measurements are approximate and are used for general descriptive purposes only. While bidder's are solely responsible for determining the condition and authenticity of items, please do not hesitate to ask questions. We want you to know exactly what you are buying.
This item will be shipped via USPS First Class Post for a $6.00 flat rate. While we ship within a couple of days of an auction ending, USPS shipping can still be very slow with significant delivery delays. Some items arrive within a week, others take several weeks. There is no way to predict how long delivery will take. By bidding and making a purchase you acknowledge and accept delivery could be delayed and will not hold us accountable for those delays.
