Made about 30 years ago by a Japanese enthusiast manufacturer in imitation of Orvis' CFO series, the workmanship is as high and accurate as Orvis'. Due to its construction, this Cantata has a louder and sharper clicking sound.
This 2300 model is about 3 1/8" in diameter, weighs 108 grams.
The catalog lists the amount of backing at DT6F or WF8F, but I think the size actually fists around WF5F to WF7F.
This reel is nomal sandblasted silver.
There are minor dents mainly on the rim area. There is scuffing on the reel foot.The internal mechanism is clean and in working order.
