Great for flashlights, lanterns, car/auto, ceiling fans, and lamps of various types. If the light uses E10 bulb base size (see pics), and uses between 4V -24V DC, this bulb will work great in it. 

This bulb type is also known as MES, or “Miniature Edison Screw”.
