A quirky set of five teaspoons from Japan.  The spoons are 950 sterling silver and each has a pearl attached to the base of the spoon.  I think they are vintage, but cannot actually date them.  They are slightly tarnished, but would be easy to clean.

They are contained in a lovely dark blue velvet presentation case.  The spoons are stamped Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Hiroshima and this is also on the inside of the box, maybe a presentation gift for staff or customers.

Each spoon weighs 13g and measures 12cm in length.  Not for the dishwasher I assume.
