These knives were made in Japan to imitate U.S. Army-issued knives and were sold at PX and by mail order during the Vietnam War. After the war, they were stamped by the manufacturer and similar ones were sold in Japan until the 1980s for the commercial market.
This type has no stamp on the blade.No sharpening stones in the pouch.
It has not been used, but there is a slight rust on the surface of the metal fittings in the butt section.There are stains on the sheath from storage.
