The infamous "Paddle Bass" from Hohner, made in Japan in the late 1980's. This is the "B2" model with passive electronics (two bass humbuckers, volume, tone and pickup balance). Set neck construction with the flip-out leg rest for seated playing, weighs just over 3kg's.

This one's been modified with a Schaller bass humbucker in the bridge position and an amateur scallop job from the 13th fret onward. Plays well as it sits or throw some new strings on and go to town!
