This is an excellent 1980s vintage Vostok Komandirskie hand-winding military watch that was made n Russia when it was the USSR.   It comes with its papers showing original sale in Russia in1990.  It has never been worn.  This watch has a bidirectional  rotating bezel. It is a versatile size at about 40mm wide and 42mm wide with the crown guard.

The watch is in superb condition.  There may be a few handling or factory marks, but the only one that I can see to the eve is a buff mark to the plating on the case-back at 10 o'clock. The screw-down crown closes tight, and the click-less bi-directional bezel moves with firm grip just as it should.

This watch is powered by a Vostok 17 jewel hand-winding movement.   All functions work as they should.  The hands set well.  The date changes at 12.  While this watch has not been serviced since leaving the factory, it has kept time well over the course of a business day.

I put this watch on an unworn 1990s Lucien Picard brown leather strap which complements the red star and bezel accents very well.  The strap is a long size so will fit men's larger wrists.   The strap is in good condition,  but shows a little cracking from age.

With my super-low starting bid, you will not find another that is in new old stock condition for a better price.
