Game 5 was played in Boston when the Celtics took on the Los Angeles Lakers. 

The Boston Celtics (led by Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen) would win Game 5 92-86 against the Los Angeles Lakers.  

Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol led the Lakers to victory, and Kobe Bryant was named Most Valuable Player of the Finals for the 2nd consecutive year.
