This vintage, beautifully hand stitched flower garden quilt came from my wife's great aunt after she passed away some 35 years ago and has been carefully stored since then. All of the possessions that came to us from her were from the late 1800's or early 1900 period, but we do not have any definitive information about it's age. The quilt is in the "Grandma's Flower Garden" style, and has an interesting feature of two different scalloped edge patterns - one for the sides, and one for the top and bottom. No more guessing which way the quilt goes! The workmanship in this quilt is exceptional - please check out the photos. I have shown the quilt on both queen and double sized  beds and I would say it can be used on either. The outer dimensions of the quilt are about 80" X 88".

The physical condition of the quilt is excellent, with a few minor snags, or defects in the fabric, primarily on the underside, and  a few small stains.  The upper side is in great condition. The photos include pictures of the underside and closeups that should probably illustrate the condition of the quilt better than a written description.
