This listing is for old carved wood panel that you see in the photos. I purchased it in an estate sale in Oregon where I was not told it's history. There were a number of antiques and vintage items at the sale. I'm guessing that this panel is old enough to be considered vintage. I leave it to the buyer to decide how old it is.

It frame measures close to 39 15/16 inches long by 12 15/16 inches wide by inches by 1 3/16 inches thick. The carved blond wood measures close to 37 1/2 by 10 5/8 inches. It weighs close to 5 pounds 12.6 ounces. There's a number written in what looks like chalk  on the reverse. I'm guessing that it was carved in China because of the brass piece for hanging it and it's general appearance. I leave it to the buyer to decide where it was carved.

The condition is much like you see it in the photos it is generally in excellent condition. There are no cracks or chips. The close-ups show one tiny spot on the frame where it looks like the nail to hold the blond wood in place popped off a little varnish. The carving looks good with no damage. There are two dark areas on the background of the wood that I believe are natural irregularities in the wood.  You can see them in a close-up. The reverse looks a little discolored or soiled. The entire panel might benefit from a light cleaning. Otherwise it is fine and not shown.

I guarantee this panel to be as described and represented by the photos. The photos are part of the description. Please look at all of them. I allow three business days for shipping, but I usually ship the same or next day if possible. Please note that the lighting in my photos is uneven, and there might be shadows or reflections. The colors on my monitor look close to but not exactly like the actual colors; different monitors may show different colors. I often say that an item measures or weighs "approximately" because no measurements are exact, and some things are difficult to measure.

I like to leave feedback after I know that the item has arrived and that the buyer is satisfied. I reserve the right to cancel any bids without explanation. I sometimes purchase signature delivery for my more valuable packages because of the possibility of them being stolen off of a porch or damaged by weather. I often, but not always, ship the same or next day. Often, I have a double-walled box custom made for larger items, which might result in a short delay. When I use packing peanuts, they are usually made from biodegradable materials.

Please email me with any questions or suggestions. I do not ship on weekends, and I might not be available to answer emails on weekends.

Thanks for looking at my ad.
