This unsigned modernist piece may be by Don Freedman, and is a remarkable example of mid century 1970s fiber art. Made of cotton, wool, jute and wood.

The body of the wall hanging is 36 inches tall and 19 inches wide, and the piece hangs down 42 inches from the top of its hanger string (measurements approximate).

In excellent vintage condition. One of the horizontal wood pieces shows a slight crack on the back side, but it doesn't affect the sturdiness or drape of the piece at all. Please see the photos.
