Triang Hornby R332/R851/6 (R332 on sticker on box, but tender reads R851/6) A3 Flying Scotsman Fine Scale Wheels Locomotive Serviced/Working Tested READ DESCRIPTION and please ask to view video.

This locomotive is in fair, working condition.

Service details:

-Added bachmann gear grease to driving gear

-Added bachmann light gear grease to moving parts and wheels

-Added bachmann electric contact solution to wheels and copper contacts

-Cleaned motor of residue/old grease

To start, the few flaws:

-Missing name on right splasher

-Minor paint missing on right piston

-Since loco is equipped with fine scale wheels, they may occasionally pop off; however they can easily be put back into place by hand

-fire box removed from loco/wasn't included in this version. Hard to tell exactly as I can't find anything online about a Hornby R332 Scotsman

Features of Loco:

-Includes accessories of unpainted crew and two vacuum pipes to fit to loco/tender

-Fine scale wheels to allow more realistic appearance (may run on code 83 track, but hasn't been tested, so please use caution)

-Locomotive (not tender) driven

-Paint has remained in decent condition despite age

-Includes original package (except maybe sticker number as stated at top of description. It may be a rarer variation of the model, but I can't find information online)

-Original instructions included

-DC operated loco

-Runs fairly well (ask to see video :) )

-Mostly metal chassis on loco

-Aside from previously mentioned area of paint, most lining has been applied with excellent accuracy with few areas of error

-Tender has small metal weight inside
