Here is an Eric Lindros Team Canada game worn red jersey #8 NOB Lindros  

The jersey was worn by Eric Lindros with Team Canada's National Team when they played their International Exhibition games in Europe. Eric was called up to the National Team in 1988-89 and 1989-90 and played a handful of games with the National Team.

This is Eric's first Team Canada jersey,and probably the first game worn Lindros jersey to be made available with #8 on the back and sleeves. Eric wore #8 before he started his junior career with the Oshawa Generals.

A Hall of Famer, Eric was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques 1st overall in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. He refused to report to Quebec and thus was traded to Philadelphia in a blockbuster trade that involved a number of Hall of Famers changing teams. He went on to play with the Flyers,and served as their captain for 6 seasons before being traded to the New York Rangers,and then finished his career with Toronto and Dallas. He won many awards at the NHL and International Level.

The wear on the jersey is consistent with the number of games Eric played. Stick marks are evident on the bottom front hem of the jersey,and both sleeves. Board burns are evident on the right sleeve of the jersey.
