Here's a Nice 35mm Film SLR Camera--- a Minolta X-370 SLR from the 1980's. It comes with a 50mm f/1.7 MD standard
lens, Lens Cap and Strap. This is GREAT camera for "purist" film shooter or for a Student/Beginner to Learn Real Photography.
The body is in Very Good Condition--- Cosmetically--- nothing too bad and it seems to be working
well. I'm not very familiar with all the nuances of this camera (I'm not a Minolta expert) but I did some "dry" testing (without getting the film developed) and everything
seems good to go. The Exterior has a little signs of use and age --- some slight smudges and some dirt in the
nooks, but no big damage or major wear and tear. Technically.... I'm not a
camera store technician, but I know cameras fairly well. I put in new batteries and ran it through some "dry" shooting and testing with a dummy roll of film. I can tell you
it winds smoothly, and the shutter fires crisply at the different speeds
up and down the scale. The Automatic Exposure feature and light meter
inside responds to light well (for Aperture Priority Automatic, plus
Full Manual using the display inside). Inside the film chamber it's
also clean as well, no problems that I can see---- it probably can use new seals but it should get the job done and it's ready to Go!
The Minolta lens is beautiful--- very minor
exterior wear and the glass is very nice---- bright and sharp coatings. There's a few specs of almost microscopic dust specs inside, but I doubt they would affect image quality. The aperture
looks fine and focus is smooth and easy.
Comes with everything you see--- Camera, Lens, Skylight Filter, Lens Cap and the camera strap attached.
Continental US Shipping will be $12.50. I will ship the next
day after purchase. It will be packed well and safe. International
Shipping via the ebay program.
PLEASE READ THIS--- By Buying
you Agree with this--- I am not a store like Amazon. I'm just an old
camera collector/shooter selling some Used items. If you read all of
the description you'll see I took the time to check out the item and
give you an honest description---- not just say... "untested, as is" like so many sellers do. But that said, and because eBay sux, I
still can't have things go back and forth based on opinion, or risk "part
swapping" either. I've been a photographer for 30+ years and I know how
cameras work and what to look for and can recognize when something is
broken. But I can't "Bench Test" everything to factory specs, and
understand every little bell and whistle. So I'm sorry, I can't sell
this item on Approval--- it's being sold As Is, No Warranty, No Buyer's
Remorse, No Try-outs, No Returns. Unless it's Brand New... I can't
guarantee that every single aspect may be Perfect... especially when
it's a 40+ year old item! (and if it was brand new the price would be double) Any significant defects that I know of are either pictured
or described to the best of my knowledge and I try to be detailed and
truthful, but I can't describe every every millimeter of it. As
expected with age, a used vintage camera could be found with a nick or
blemishes here and there or a few additional specs of dust inside that I
failed to mention, particularly inside the viewfinder... but they won't
affect the photos and would hardly diminish it... unless you expect
everything to be 100% Perfect. But.... I can't let people buy something, play with it,
break it and then say it arrived that way. I'm an honest guy, but
there are many buyers who aren't. What you see is what you'll get and I
package my items well, so it arrives in the same condition as shown.
SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE Interesting Items---- I'll be
selling a large portion of my camera collection over the next few
months, so check back and/or tell me what you're looking for. If you
have questions about this or other items or combined shipping or other
discounts---- please ask... Let's make a deal. Thanks
