Up for auction is a set of 3 Scott Specialty Series albums for Postage Stamps of Independent Countries of Asia. These albums are mostly empty, containing just a few mint stamps. The overall condition is good with pages that are clean and free of any smoke or mildew odors, rust, stains, or sports. The binders, however, show some signs of age and wear.

In addition to this set, the auction includes another album for Asian Countries with some stamps from a different source. All stamps are shown. In this album the stamps are used and MH.

Volume I features spaces for stamps issued by Afghanistan (1870-1970), Bhutan (1962-1970), Bushire (1915), Cambodia (1951-1974), and China (1878-1970, including Formosa, Occupation, and Provinces).

Volume II includes Hejaz (1916-1925), Indonesia (1950-1969), Israel (1948-1970), Japan (1871-1963), Korea (1884-1970), Laos (1951-1974), and Manchukuo (1932-1944).

Volume III covers Persia - Iran ( 1870-1970), Ryukyu Islands (1948-1970), Saudi Arabia (1925-1970), Shangai (1865-1893), Siam (1883-1970), Syria (1920-1970), Tibet (1912-1945), United Arab Republic/Syria (1958-1961), Vietnam (1951-1975), West New Guinea (1962-1970), and Yemen (1926-1962).
