This is the NEWER 2023 version with 16GB storage. The OLD version have only 8GB storage.

The phone is TracFone/Verizon branded, BUT, it is fully unlocked, so you can use it with AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, or any MVNO that uses those 3 towers. TracFone/Verizon SIM card included, but you can take that out and use your own if you do not use TracFone/Verizon as the service provider.

If you are using your own carrier that's not TracFone, then simply ignore the Tracfone documentation. Instead, follow your carriers activation process.

SOME carriers need phone to be in their "whitelist", so IT IS BEST that you check with your carrier! Sample IMEI to use to check: 016144003564208

NOTE regarding "US Mobile" (usmobile.com) carrier: SOME users are reporting they are unable to get this to work with "US Mobile", EVEN THOUGH their website show this phone is compatible. I do NOT know the specifics, as I have NOT yet personally tested this phone with US Mobile, but it could be zipcode dependent, or maybe some users did not request the correct SIM card from US Mobile.

Even though this is a flip phone, it does have WIFI and Bluetooth 4.2

Most carriers REQUIRE you to have a flip phone to be on their talk and text plan (with NO DATA), and this matches that requirement. However, please check with your carrier, to make sure they indeed allow the taxt and text only plan for this flip phone.

The FILTER will stay in place even if someone did a factory reset

MOUSE CURSOR INSTRUCTION

Since this is a flip phone WITHOUT touch screen, it can be hard to navigate the Waze maps app, so I have installed a virtual "mouse cursor" that you can toggle on/off.
To show the cursor, press the star button that is beside the email button (NOT the star button on bottom of number pad):

Prees the star button once, now you can move the cursor with the navigation wheel around the "OK" button, press it again, and the cursor would be locked.
Please note that you cannot use the Cursor mode and Navigation Wheel Menu mode at the same time. So if your navigation wheel to select menu items do not work, it is because you have Mouse Cursor Mode on. Simply Toggle the mouse cursor off, and the Navigation Menu wheel to select menu options will work normally.
