For this "40EX" series, there are two types: 40EX Mild and 40EX. The difference is the level of "coolness", a fresh feeling when putting the drops into your eyes, which many Japanese eyedrops have. 
  • The 40EX Mild version has level 2 out of 7, while the 40EX version has level 5 out of 7
